Calçotada a Botarell

Quart encontre d'amics en poc temps. Aquesta vegada va ser a Reus i a Botarell on ens van convidar a una magnífica calçotada. Després vam estar jugant a bitlles tota la vesprada i tot seguit vam fer una visita a Reus per veure com anaven les obres del Casal Despertaferro.

Quiet Town

Josh Rouse va nàixer a Nebraska a l'any 1972. La primera vegada que vaig llegir el seu nom va ser a una tenda de Starbucks a Gurnee, Illinois; mentre esperava que em prepararen el famós mocca-frappuccino, em vaig quedar mirant els Cds que tenien a la venda, i va ser allí, on el vaig descobrir. Josh Rouse és molt conegut als EUA, i des de que es va mudar a la costa mediterrània fa uns anys, sembla ser que també està donant-se a conèixer a la nosta terra. Aquesta vesprada de boira i pluja actuava al Palau d'Altea, el lloc on va viure durant uns anys i al que li va dedicar la cançó "Quiet Town".

Per primera vegada en la meua vida he eixit en una filà que no era la meua, els Suavos. Vaig compartir un dia especial amb una persona molt especial i que s'ho mereix tot. Moltes gràcies Paco i enhorabona, mai no ho oblidaré.

Com cada any quan arriba el Nadal busquem un destí per passar el Cap d'Any...i aquest any hem decidit tornar a Xina i veure el que ens havia quedat pendent de l'any passat. Next stop: Shanghai.

Després d'un viatge d'unes 16 hores amb parada tècnica a Paris, vam arribar a Shanghai, que encara estava pendent de fa uns anys. Amb molts "tips" sobre la ciutat, el primer que vam fer al despertar-nos al dia següent va ser anar a Pudong i visitar la Jin Mao Tower, fins fa poc l'edifici més alt de Xina i allí sorpresa...Jackie Chan!

Dia de Cap d'Any vam anar a Macao a una hora en ferry des de Hong Kong. Una vegada més et vam fer cas i vam visitar el centre històric, l'A-Ma Temple i vam acabar al Venetian...no ens va donar temps a menjar a Fernando. Thank you!!
